First FiveX Ultra already ordered! 

Just over a month ago, Water Jet Sweden launched the new water jet cutting machine concept FiveX Ultra and already the first order has been signed. FiveX Ultra is a new type of advanced waterjet cutting machine, with new capabilities for 5-axis waterjet cutting in full 3D. 

FiveX Ultra was launched at EuroBLECH 2022, at the end of October this year. This ground-breaking new water jet cutting machine attracted great interest among industry professionals, press and customers with business discussions held at the show with several stakeholders, one of which has now placed their first order.

As part of the procurement, thorough testing was completed with the customer. This is an important step where we both develop the customer's production process and quality assure the application, commented Tony Ryd, Technical Manager and co-founder of Water Jet Sweden.

The FiveX Ultra water jet cutting machine provides completely new opportunities for industrial processing and has pushed the boundaries of the applications for which 5-axis waterjet cutting can be used. The tests went as planned and the customer has now placed an order for their first FiveX Ultra. As a large international group in the aerospace sector, this customer is seeking to become a world leader in advanced materials technology and material processing, Water Jet Sweden is therefore delighted to be working with them to achieve their aim.

The FiveX Ultra is a compact and lean version of the large-scale 3D cutting machine model, FiveX. Designed to manage a wide range of cutting assignments from 2D up to full 3D, any material the FiveX Ultra has a new design platform to make it slim, light and extremely stable (as WJS known standard) with improved accessibility and visibility.

The introduction of the FiveX Ultra further expands the broad portfolio of quality cutting systems that Water Jet Sweden offer. Ranging from entry level basic 2D machines, micro processing, to big machines for large and odd sizes of material, all with the unique 5-year performance warranty included.
