SPECIAL METALS WATER JET CUTTER APPLICATIONS

Water jet cutting provides the ability to cut a wide range of metals using the same process including aluminium, titanium, yellow metals, inconels, monels, duplex steels, wear and armour plate grades.

In addition, as end users seek to reduce the number of processes in the supply chain many parts that previously would have been finish machined as a separate operation can now be finished to close tolerance on the water jet cutter, eliminating cost and lead time.

BevelJet technology allows for features such as weld preparations and countersinks to be added to the profile without the need for post operation fixturing and machining.

Finally, inkjet marking, that can be included on the Premium and Grand water jet cutters, allow for information such as part numbers, material batch numbers, order numbers etc to be printed on each profile, giving traceability and reducing a source of error.
