Spare Parts & Service Co-ordinator
To support our customers and service technicians we require a person to be responsible for delivering spare parts business – from receiving enquiries by phone and email through to issuing quotation, following up to receive orders, and then despatching those spare parts.
Making up 'service packs' of parts for our engineers to support customers is also required.
As the person at front of house for service and spare parts, you will have a high standard of customer care, dealing with customer questions and queries and identifying the correct course of action. The service you deliver will make your customers feel valued and supported. You will be supported by our technical team who can provide any technical support directly to the customer, but you will be expected to own queries until closed off. Excellent communication skills are essential.
There is the opportunity for this role to expand for a high-performing candidate with additional responsibilities to include but are not restricted to the scheduling of engineers.
Apprentice Service Technician
We have continually invested in apprenticeships having started our apprentice scheme in 2012 in conjunction with York College for Technical Engineers. We are now looking to employ another apprentice to join our busy workshop and field service team. Based from our Technical Centre near Wetherby, we offer a real opportunity for personal growth and development of skills in all aspects of mechanical fitting, hydraulic systems, electronics, and Cad/Cam software.
